• Midstates Ag Services has been serving the international seed industry for over 40 years. In 1964, Midstates Ag Services began operations as a farm supply store; however, by 1966 the emphasis had changed to providing sorghum seed and soybean seed to international markets, specifically those located between the twenty-third and twenty-fifth parallels. Midstates' vision was to provide quality seeds that would enable ordinary farmers to produce higher yields and thereby increase their profitability. To achieve this, Midstates worked in cooperation with plant breeders at Arkansas State, Mississippi State, Oklahoma State and Texas A&M universities resulting in the development of better hybrids.
Midstates' dedication to quality in the early years continues to serve as the driving force behind all of the products in our line. Fueled by cutting-edge research and production capabilities, Midstates' seed division offers a full range of grain sorghum, forage sorghum and sorghum x sudangrass hybrids. Each variety is carefully selected based on a number of factors, including yield potential, disease resistance, and nutritional value.
