for any day length because it possesses a delayed
maturity, with no sensitivity to day length.
Because HONEY DROP LS is 25 to 30 days later than
typical Sorghum x Sudangrass hybrids, growers can
delay harvest to increase crop growth and obtain as
much as 25% greater forage yields.The delayed maturity
affords a wider window for harvest before heading.
Digestibility data from research suggests that HONEY
DROP LS has a greater IVTD value and, higher protein
content, than other conventional Sorghum X Sudangrass
hybrids. When comparing true digestible dry matter,
this hybrid produces 201% more than most commercial
checks.
